"Bloodbath on Aisle 7"

Films: Bait 3D (2012)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Ocean/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average great whites.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: When the place gets flooded, you'd best find dry land, no matter what the source, and fast. If you can't swim, the reason is obvious. If you can, then you should still proceed with caution. For the water is always carrying some rather feisty cargo...

History: Near the beaches of Singapore, a tsunami has arrived and left most of the buildings almost completely submerged, with scores of people dead. This would be bad enough for some folks in a flooded supermarket, but there's more. The place has been unofficially taken over by a group of great white sharks looking to chomp on whomever decides to get in the water. It's a game of equal parts patience and endurance for the surviving humans.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After many perish either to the sharks or to each other, the survivors manage to take out the two sharks tormenting them via a shotgun blast and a taser respectively. They still have the rest of the flooded city to go through, though.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-Being trapped in an enclosed space with two overly-hungry great whites can only be described as nothing less than harrowing. But what should have been the ultimate nightmare is somewhat undercut by some shoddy effects and instances where the sharks actually behave like typical sharks (for instance, one just casually nudging an armored person like it was some typical structure). But for what it's worth, there was blood in the water, and the inevitable followed.

Trivia: -There have been sightings of sharks converging in flooded areas near the oceans. Special cases include places in Florida and Australia. However, these are mostly rumors, and photographs are often dubious. Plenty of other animals definitely hitch rides on floods though, like gators, snakes, and even dolphins.

-There were three animatronic sharks, mainly because the filmmakers wanted to avoid using too much CGI. Alas, many shots required such.

Micheal Bay got himself a shark!

And they said the Jaws prop was the end of it.
Was it ever flipped?

Swimming for the sake of TP.

Those teeth ended up in a pretty bad place. Apart from, well, anywhere on his body.
Why bother hiding it? It's just shark.

Why stop when you can bring your buddies to ravage new territory.

Nuzzle, nuzzle, nudge, nudge!
"This is for Jaws IV, you twats!"

Or a supermarket. By the way, jaws in the mirror are closer they appear.

"Jokes on you! Shark brains are considerably smaller! Wait..."
